the haus.

We’re part of a bigger comms group. In addition to humann., The Haus has four specialist agencies that are experts in: experience and engagement marketing, integrated social, healthcare communications and brand and reputation.

our humanns.

Finding solutions to your problems, we build on our core communications team, assembling passionate specialists and creatives for a humann. approach.

business director.

seon peberdy.

Seon has always loved a challenge. This all started in preschool when she entered a gelato eating competition - a feat so impressive it was filmed and played on Playschool (through the Arch window). And continues to this day where she remains undefeated in The Haus annual Easter Egg Hunt. These days, she specialises in consumer communications where she has spent the last 13 years working with international and local clients including Sony, P&G, The Art Series Hotels, Electrolux, Lactalis and Unilever.

Besides a brief career break to complete a Masters of Politics and Public Policy, most of Seon’s career has been spent at The Haus where she’s had some of her proudest career moments. FYI - for an agency that doesn’t enter awards (by choice), that comes in the form of her clients gaining recognition for their work (either locally or internationally) and being able to play a supporting role.

Heading up the humann. team, Seon is the oil that makes everything run smoothly, delivering the best possible work for clients. The Scorpio also has a soft spot for creating a campaign timeline. She’s the type of humann. who, outside of work, spends her time embarrassing her teenage daughters or taking her dog (aka the favourite child) on adventures.

editorial director.

melissa shedden.

Melissa, or Mel as she’s known, has loved telling stories ever since she won the Good Sense of Humour award in kindergarten. She’s spent the past 14 years successfully doing just that – in newspapers, glossy magazines, on your digital newsfeed, telly and podcast app.

The typical Capricorn has had her byline or head on a number of Australian and UK media outlets as a journalist, including Women’s Health, The Sun, Herald Sun, news.com.au, Studio 10, 2GB, Little Angel and more, as well as editing News Corp lifestyle and health brands whimn.com.au and bodyandsoul.com.au. She’s also been recognised in the 2019 B&T Women In Media Awards Journalist category, the 2016 AOC Best Social Media campaign for Swisse and Apple’s best of 2018 list for Healthy-ish, Body+Soul’s podcast for which she was launch editor.

Mel loves working with brands to deliver content strategies and solutions, as well as compelling earned campaigns that cut through clichés and connect with audiences. She’s the type of humann. who gets satisfaction from people watching, playing obscure board games, 8.30pm bedtimes and taking an embarrassing amount of photos of her daughter.

senior consultant.

keiran mannion.

As an introverted extrovert Keiran loves creating a bit of magic for the brands she works with so they’re seen and heard. She’s done that for the past five years in lifestyle and beauty PR.

The typical Aquarius has worked across global and local brands including Electrolux, Remington, L’Occitane, Vaalia and OAK. She’s also paid her experience forward, as a mentor for the 2020 PRIA Young Guns initiative.

As consultant at humann. Keiran knows how to make brands interesting. Whether it’s by partnering with the right influencer or rolling out a more robust communication strategy, no two days are the same. She’s the type of humann. who lives for reformer Pilates, netball, a good margarita and slow cooking, but sadly her freezer space has put her batch cooking on hold for now.

hayley needleman.

Hayley has loved bringing ideas to life visually ever since she picked up a crayon. She’s spent the past eight years doing just that as a career, in London and Sydney, at both agencies and in-house.

The typical Gemini who lives and breathes all things design, has worked across global and local brands including Dove, Ben & Jerry’s, The Guardian, Australian Eggs, Electrolux, Duracell, Oak, Vaalia, Sydney Airport, Campos, Twitch, Tinder, Priceline, Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation, VW, Lurpak, LinkedIn, Westpac and more. She’s also been recognised as a 2018 Cannes Young Lions Finalist in London and 2020 B&T 30 under 30 finalist.

As Design Director at The Haus, Hayley is a brand guardian and creative thinker, working with clients across all industry sectors from conceptualisation to execution. In other words, dreaming up the big idea and seeing it come to life. She also loves to illustrate. Hayley is the type of humann. who when she’s not upcycling her apartment, is rating the freshly squeezed juices from her local cafes. And she’s one of those rare types who actually enjoys dress up parties, she’ll even make her own costume, too.
